Privacy
Yelmo is a curated archive of how designers work in the era of agents. This page covers the website at yelmo.ai and the official Yelmo Chrome extension. It is short on purpose.
What we store
- Account data from Google sign-in: your email, display name, and avatar. Used to identify you and show your profile at yelmo.ai/<handle>.
- Content you create: entries, your design.md, skills, and any media you upload. Stored on Supabase Postgres and Supabase Storage.
- Saves captured with the Chrome extension. Each save sends the page URL, the title you keep or edit, an optional note, the page description and og:image when present, and an optional screenshot of the visible viewport. For tweets the tweet id is also recorded so the entry renders as an embedded tweet on your public page. Everything lands as a draft entry under your account. Nothing is published until you publish it.
- A short-lived authentication token in the extension. Stored only in your browser via chrome.storage.local. We do not see this token.
What we do not store
- Your full browsing history. The extension only reads the active tab when you trigger a save.
- Page content beyond what you save. We do not crawl pages in the background.
- Third-party analytics inside the extension popup.
Where data goes
- Supabase (database, storage, auth) hosts your data.
- Anthropic processes the titles, URLs, tags and notes of your last 30 saves only when you ask Yelmo to draft a design.md from your saves. Normal saves never call Claude.
- Vercel serves the website and API.
Deletion
Sign in to yelmo.ai, archive or delete entries from your dashboard, and email dsaltaren@gmail.com to delete your account. Removal of database rows is immediate; cached public pages may take up to a day to clear.
